[SUMMER EVENT] Join a Japanese summer festival! Bon Dancing
Bon dancing was originally performed during the time of Obon, to pray for the spirits of people who had passed away, and to comfort the spirits of the ancestors, who are said to come back during the Obon season. In modern times, it developed into a dedication dance that incorporates folk songs, and forms an essential part of the Japanese summer festival culture.
Escorted by hotel staff, guests at the Shiba Park Hotel can participate in the festival. In addition, guests are introduced to the food stalls, which are a typical feature of Japanese festivals.
