【JAPANESE CULTURE WORKSHOP】 TERU-TERU-BOZU Making

Teru-Teru-Bozu is a doll made with white cloth and paper that is hung from the eaves of a house in hopes for clear skies. As Teru-Teru-Bozus can be made easily, it is common in Japan for children to make them and hang them from the eaves the day before a school trip, sports day, or other outdoor event, with the wish that the following day will be sunny.

In the workshop, guests are instructed on how to make a Teru-Teru-Bozu, and also to get a taste of Japanese culture. The Teru-Teru-Bozu dolls can be taken home as a souvenir of their experience.

This workshop is also held with the hope that our guests, who have come to visit Japan during the rainy season, will have clear skies throughout their stay.

Don’t miss out on the excellent opportunity to experience Japanese culture firsthand!!
